Thanks again to Edward for the cd. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to more. The best song for me was "Ruin my Life". Are you trying to get this made into a movie, or was this for fun?

And for goodness sakes, get Elizabeth a copy!

No December

I waited with batted breath for a disk to come in the mail. Seeing that I sent a November to all. Then January rolls around, yet no disk has come for a whole month.
I am now so sad and forgotten what have I done wrong that my mailbox was empty for a whole month.
If February comes and no disk does I will just cry myself to sleep for the rest of the year.
If the reason that I did not get a disk is because the person who did December did not get my November disk then I will send it out right now but I REALLY REALLY want to hear and read December.

Thanks
Elizabeth

December Disk

Hey guys-
Just wanted to leave a brief note about the December disk that arrived a couple weeks ago among all the flutter and clutter of what was then the approaching holiday season. I put the disk aside for a little while, as there was just too much commotion when it arrived to give it the attention it deserved.

Ed, I really appreciated all the time, energy, and thought you put into the mix and the treatment. I've never read a treatment before, but found it a really fascinating way to get the outline of a movie across in just a few pages. I'm a writer of mostly nonfiction books and articles, but found myself wishing I were a screenwriter when I read that treatment. I think you've got a great concept and an awesome soundtrack to make a very fine feature film.

So thanks for spending all that time on the package. It was a welcome change of pace from all the hoopla of the holidays and a chance to retreat into a different world for me.

With the great November and December disks now safely in my collection of favored CDs, I can't wait to see what's on tap for the January installment.
Thanks everyone!
Elaine

December CD

Greetings all once again,

The December CD is now in the mail, and should be arriving to your homes shortly.

I followed the idea of creating a soundtrack for a film, so along with the CD I have included a film treatment for the concept I was considering while choosing the music.

I hope you all like it.

(p.s. look for the hidden track!)

Trailer

December CD

I am a film nut. As a graduate student in both the History and Library Science fields, I have focused all of my energy on film history and applications. I also used to be both an onair radio DJ and a DJ for hire.

Why all of that introduction? Well this month's CD will explain that away. I have been thinking about what I could do. . .and then it hit me, a mix CD developed as the perfect soundtrack for a film.

Well the CD is almost finished, however with any true film production, there must be a trailer so. . .

Stay tuned to our blog for the December 2006 Otterpop CD Club trailer
